Divorce rate explosion in Japan

In Japan, a new pension laws are constituted, which says that the wife can get entitle to receive half of her husband’s pension. Even though they got divorce, the wife can get the half of it. Moreover, the article says that the divorce rate in Japan is increasing recently, because divorce is as a sign of a woman’s independence. Now, 42,000 wives may apply for a divorce, it means the women live themselves own life.
However, I do not consider that women’s independence causes the increasing divorce rate in Japan. Because there are a lot of troubles between the men and the women, the divorce will happen to them. Even if the women work harder than they used to, the divorce will not happen to them; the couple get along with each other as long as possible.
